Dear Rebecca,
I just read your article again and it brought to mind the people in my community. I live in an over 55 community and I think the high lite of their day is the seniors picking up their mail. They all wait around until the mailman fills all the boxes. Wayne knows everyone and hands them their mail. While they are waiting it's a good time to catch up on local gossip. I noticed that most read their mail before they even leave the area. It is obvious receiving mail means a great deal to them even if it is only a bill.

Thanks for posting your articles.

Rebecca,
The personal human touch is so nice. I do enjoy received letters or even just a note.
Your writings are great.

Thoroughly enjoyable. A fleeting moment of reminiscence for things past, like the guilty pleasure of a summer afternoon spent on the lazy contemplation of Dickens or Maugham or Conrad. Thanks for the memory.
