Announcing Issue 4

It’s that time of year again – the weather gets cooler, the sweaters and scarves get fluffier, and we’re all itching for something to read that isn’t homework. Here at Side B, we can’t make promises about the weather or offer any fashion advice, but we can help you on that last one and introduce our fabulous fourth issue.

Here’s what we’ve put together for you for Fall 2011:

- Photography by Abigail Poulton, Timothy Opar, Julie Gallup, and Duncan Hill.
- Two stellar interviews – one with rising singer Tara Priya, and one with acclaimed playwright EM Lewis.
- Jessica Freeman-Slade takes on pop music’s ever-changing girl code.
- AK Williams walks us through the nuances of sound.
- Side B editor Nicole Vazquez reviews Tanner Hall.
- A fantastic selection of prose and poetry from seven talented contributors.
- And last but not least, the winners of the Side B/The Drum dual-publication awards.

Many thanks to all of those who submitted work for this edition, and extend our congratulations to those whose work was selected. To everyone reading this post right now – yes, you! – we hope to hear from you as future contributors.
Issue 4 is available for purchase through MagCloud in both print and digital formats. All past issues are available through MagCloud as well. Keep watching the blog (and Twitter) for information regarding Issue 5.
