2010 Year in Review Recommendations

This past year audiences saw a new wave of great stories and plotlines from either adapted or original screenplays play on the big screen. Thus to celebrate 2010’s passing, here is a list of movies, which in my opinion, have brilliantly shined out of the darkness of 2010′s economic hardship and equally devastating environmental disasters.

Note: These movies are in no particular order. They are just the first ones that came to mind.

Black Swan

Tangled

The Town

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1

The Ghost Writer

Despicable Me

The Kids Are All Right

Buried

Sweetgrass

Waiting for Superman

If you have not seen some of these movies then I HIGHLY suggest you do so immediately. They are all brilliant and incredible in their own way.

Thanks to all the screenwriters, directors, actors, and crew members who made these movies possible. In all honesty they were a great break from 2010’s often anxious reality.
